The latest DATANOVA fourth-generation (4G) nine-band antenna from Antenova Ltd. features Global Positioning System (GPS) and Long Term Evolution (LTE) capability for netbook and notebook computers. The one antenna covers GPS, LTE bands 4, 7, 13, and 17, 3G cellular service, WWAN, WiMAX, and Wi-Fi. According to Greg McCray, Chief Executive Offcer (CEO) of Antenova, "With 64 operators already committed to LTE network deployments in 31 countries, many of our Tier 1 notebook vendors are gearing up for LTE rollouts. And with the inclusion of GPS in a single antenna structure, users can experience and enjoy the growing range of location-based services and applications."
