Synthesized Source Generates 14.28 GHz

Model THOR-14280 low-noise frequency synthesizer from EM Research provides a fixed-frequency output at 14.28 GHz that is suitable for VSAT radios, test equipment, and point-to-point microwave radios. It supplies +7 dBm output power with less than -20 dBc harmonics and less than -40 dBc subharmonics. The spurious content is better than -60 dBc. Phase noise is -80 dBc/Hz offset 1 kHz from the carrier, -90 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier, and -110 dBc/Hz offset 100 kHz from the carrier. The compact synthesizer measures 2.50 x 1.10 x 0.40 in. (22.9 x 22.9 x 3.8 mm).
