Satellite communications (satcom) specialist Comtech Xicom has announced a new, expanded Internet web site to show off its extensive lines of power amplifiers (PAs) for satcom applications. Available for frequency coverage encompassing 2 GHz to beyond 50 GHz, the PAs can be specified for output-power levels from 8 W to 3 kW in rack-mount as well as outdoor configurations for both commercial and military applications. The PAs are based on both solid-state and klystron vacuum-tube and traveling-wave-tube (TWT) technologies.
