In order to encourage cooperation between the US Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community (IC), National Conference Services is hosting the DoD & IC Partnership Conference for this Oct. 27-30, 2008 in Dallas, TX. The conference, "Creating Decision Advantage," will provide key sponsors, stakeholders, and community professionals with a chance to understand how the partnership between the DoD and the IC works. According to Marianne Bailey, director of the Unified Cross Domain Management Office (UCDMO), "Success of the UCDMO requires a cultural change in which all partners work toward a common goal of enhancing our information sharing capabilities by fully supporting the UCDMO initiatives."
