The PMA1 series of in-line power monitors include the models PMA1-03, PMA1-06, and PMA1-08 with frequency ranges of 70 MHz to 3 GHz, 6 GHz, and 8 GHz, respectively. Each power monitor integrates a pick off tee, power sensor, and display into a miniature package. The portable unit provides long operating lifetime powered by a battery, with no cables needed for hookup. USB charging and computer communication are possible through the micro USB port. As an example of the product line, model PMA1-08 operates from 70 MHz to 8 GHz and is usable to 10 GHz. It has a dynamic range of -20 to +10 dBm with 0.01 dBm resolution and 0.6-dB typical direct-line insertion loss. The typical VSWR is 1.15:1. The power monitor makes three measurements per second and can run on batteries for 100 hours in active mode and 30 days in sleep mode. Model PMA1-08 measures only 3.74 x 1.45 x 0.95 in. in a rugged housing and is available with SMA or Type N connectors.
