Eberhard Brunner
Eberhard Brunner is a senior design engineer at Analog Devices, with a BSEE from UC Berkeley (1988) and an MSEE from Oregon Graduate Institute (1995). He’s also an alumnus of Santa Clara University. After graduation from UC Berkeley, he worked for Harris Farinon, a microwave radio company, as a modem design engineer. In 1991, he moved to Oregon and joined Analog Devices’ northwest labs, reporting to ADI Fellow Barrie Gilbert. Since this time, he has worked as a technician and applications engineer, in product engineering support, marketing, and mostly design. His areas of expertise are in nonlinear analog design, RF power detection, medical imaging, and microwave design. He currently works in the Power over Ethernet (PoE) design group in Santa Barbara, Calif. He has 10 issued patents.
