Since its inception in 1959, RLC has been the leading designer and manufacturer of high quality, state-of-the-art coaxial switches, band-pass filters, precision attenuators, and other transmission-line components for the microwave industry. In 1969, after ten years of growth and performance in this market, the company moved into its modern facility located in Mt. Kisco, NY. Over the last thirty years, RLC has continued to grow with a concentration towards excellence in passive, coaxial microwave components. With over 50 years experience, RLC's product capabilities include coaxial switches, filters, attenuators, couplers, power dividers, detectors, bias tees, terminations, and other transmission-line components for the industry, all manufactured in the United States of America.
Recent additions include custom design capabilities that integrate discrete components into a specific common platform for multi-function abilities, tailored to meet specific needs. Range of performance exceeds 40 GHz (up to 65 GHz on switches). Typical applications for military and commercial use include calibration services, ATE, EW and assembly miniaturization and consolidation. The present plant combines areas for research and development, metal fabrication, assembly, quality control, environmental testing, and general and administrative offices in twenty thousand square feet. Currently, a large portion of the R&D effort entails designing smaller devices (and surface mount) that have the ability to go higher in frequency than in the past. RLC is also the only QPL switch provider and one of few in the industry who provide manually controlled electro-mechanical switches.
