Key Features
- Excellent conductivity
- No mixing required
- Cures at 175°F to 185°F
- Good physical strength properties
Master Bond Supreme 3HTS-80 is a one-component, heat-curing epoxy featuring good electrical conductivity and physical strength properties. It is a thick paste but readily dispensable in a syringe. It is not premixed and frozen and its working life at room temperature is unlimited. Unlike most heat-activated epoxies, the curing temperature is 175°F to 185°F for 2 to 3 hours. Supreme 3HTS-80 should be stored in conventional refrigerators and freezing is neither needed nor recommended.
It bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, composites, glass, ceramics, and many plastics. Supreme 3HTS-80 bonds well in both shear and peel modes. It is a toughened system and can withstand thermal cycling and shock. Its service temperature range is -100°F to +350°F. It is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents.
The properties of this system, especially the lower curing temperature, allow it to be a viable option for aerospace, electronic, micro-electronics, optical, and related specialty applications What makes Supreme 3HTS-80 unique is its combination of a one-component system with a curing temperature of 175°F to 185°F, rather than the typical 250°F to 350°F.
