Massachusetts Acknowledges Strand for 25 Years of Service

Dec. 18, 2019
B2B marketing firm Strand Marketing is recognized for 25 years of community service by the state of Massachusetts, as well as its locality.

Celebrating 25 years in business, business-to-business (B2B) marketing firm Strand Marketing has been recognized locally as well as by the State of Massachusetts for its years of community service. The agency received a Greater Newburyport (Mass.) Chamber of Commerce and Industry “Anchor Award” in recognition of its dedication to the local community and Newburyport economy. The agency, located just north of Boston, also received recognition from the State of Massachusetts’ House of Representatives, as Newburyport/Amesbury State Representative James Kelcourse joined the Chamber of Commerce for the award and presented the state’s official seal and certificate of appreciation during a gathering at Strand Marketing headquarters in Newburyport.

Among Strand’s many community-minded accomplishments, it organized and manages the “Keep Our Community Warm” campaign, now in its fifth year. The campaign collects and distributes winter coats, clothing, and blankets throughout the holiday season for those in need. The charitable efforts have resulted in the collection of hundreds of clothing items for needy people during this most recent holiday season. Regarding the recognition, Strand Marketing founder and president, David Strand, said: “We’re humbled and honored to receive this recognition from our community and the state, It truly has been our pleasure to participate in keeping this this ocean-side borough one of Massachusetts’ true gems. When it comes to balancing all the cultural, recreational, creative, and economic necessities, and community spirit, that makes a community an awesome place to live, work, and play, greater Newburyport is simply one of the best in the country. We’re lucky to be a part of it.”
