Summary
It’s highly likely that future military conflicts will hinge not on superior firepower or strategic wizardry but rather on information advantages. The forces with the ability to convert vast amounts of data from distributed sensors and weapons systems into faster, smarter decisions and greater precision in their efforts will gain the upper hand in any conflict.
To that end, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has long since developed a strategy for modernizing its command, control, and communications (C3) systems. C3 systems are at the heart of all military operations, providing the critical dataflow that’s required to plan, coordinate, and control forces across the full range of missions. For itself and allies in a joint force scenario, the DoD seeks to enable competitive advantages through a seamless, resilient, and secure C3 transport infrastructure.
In this webinar panel discussion, industry experts will discuss these efforts at a continuous and ongoing modernization of C3 systems.
