Amsterdam, the Netherlands will play host to European Microwave Week (www.eumweek.com) next month, with this annual gathering of RF/microwave companies scheduled for October 28 through November 2. One of the exhibitors, Hittite Microwave Corp., will debut their models  HMC1033LP6GE and the HMC1035LP6GE surface-mount clock generators for programmable frequency synthesis to 2.5 GHz.

These clock generators feature fractional-N phase-lock-loop (PLL) circuitry for stability and operate on single +3.3-VDC supplies. Model HMC1033LP6GE operates from 25 to 550 MHz with only 99 fs root-mean-square (RMS) integrated phase noise while model HMC1035LP6GE provides an extended frequency range from 25 to 2.5 GHz with only 100 fs RMS integrated phase noise.
