Aeroflex provides RF and microwave integrated circuits (ICs), components, and systems that are used in the design, development, and maintenance of wireless communications systems. Its solutions include microelectronic
components and test and measurement equipment, which are used by companies in the space, avionics and defense; commercial wireless communications; and medical and other markets.
Aeroflex Microelectronic Solutions
AMS designs and develops both HiRel and RadHard products, which are designed, developed, and manufactured with a different material process than established semiconductor manufacturing practices. It also offers a range of complementary products that provide connectivity and computing functionality for applications with high-performance, high-reliability requirements. Among those products are RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave products including discrete components, ICs, MMICs, and multichip modules. In addition, AMS designs and manufactures application-specific analog and mixed-signal devices for use in medical, industrial, and intelligent sensors. Among the company’s other target markets are space, avionics, and defense and wireless-communications platforms.
Aeroflex Test Solutions
ATS provides test and measurement hardware and software products that primarily target the following markets: space, avionics, defense, and commercial wireless-communications (including cellular infrastructure, cellular device, mobile radio, and satellite). ATS' products consist of flexible application software and multifunction hardware. Customers combine those solutions with industry-standard computers, networks, and other third-party devices to create measurement, automation, and embedded systems.
