MicroWave Technology has developed a series of GaAs MMIC amplifiers in chip form for applications from 2 to 20 GHz. WIth almost 1 W output power, these broadband amplifiers include the model MMA-022030B chip with +29 dBm output power at 1-dB compression and typical small-signal gain of 6.5 dB. The noise figure is typically 6.5 dB while the input and output return losses are 9 and 8 dB, respectively. For more information on this and other broadband MMIC amplifiers, visit the MwT web site: www.mwtinc.com/
