Amplifier Boosts 5 To 20 GHz

Model AVA-24+ is a RoHS-compliant broadband microwave amplifier from Mini-Circuits with frequency coverage of 5 to 20 GHz. It features 12 dB typical gain with 0.8 dB gain flatness through 18 GHz with typical reverse isolation of 37 dB. The monolithic amplifier is housed in a 3 x 3 mm QFN type package and includes integrated impedance matching, DC blocking, and bias circuitry. It delivers +18.0 dBm typical output power at 1-dB compression through 16 GHz when operating from a single +5-VDC supply. The unconditionally stable amplifier has an output third-order intercept point of +26.5 dBm at 10 GHz and +23.8 dBm at 20 GHz.
