L-com Global Connectivity donated approximately $15,000 worth of Category 5e modular cable to the Ben Franklin Institute of Technology (BFIT) in Boston, MA. The donation will help students learn the structure and architecture of modular networks. L-com has a history of such donations, helping out during the China Earthquake Disaster Fund in 2008. Tim May, Assistant Operations and Facilities Manager at L-com Global Connectivity, explained that "These are challenging economic times. It's times like these that we must remember where we came from. The Ben Franklin Institute of Technology has flourished in its over 200-year history because it encourages technological training in the tradition of Benjamin Franklin."
