For protecting sensitive circuits and components such as low-noise amplifiers (LNA) from damage due to high-level signals, the model RLM-33-2W high-speed limiter from Mini-Circuits is usable from 0.2 to 3000 MHz.

For protecting sensitive circuits and components such as low-noise amplifiers (LNA) from damage due to high-level signals, the model RLM-33-2W high-speed limiter from Mini-Circuits is usable from 0.2 to 3000 MHz. It has a limiting range of +12 to +33 dBm and can handle maximum input-signal levels to 2.5 W. It exhibits 0.25 dB typical insertion loss and fast 22.5-ns typical recovery time from high-level signals. With a typical VSWR of 1.33:1, the low-cost limiter is supplied in a plastic surface-mount package measuring just 0.25 x 0.31 x 0.16 in. (6.35 x 7.87 x 4.06 mm). It is suitable for both military and commercial applications where output levels must be stabilized.
