TriQuint Semiconductor

TriQuint Semiconductor designs and manufactures RF solutions for the worldwide communications marketplace. The company supports mobile-device, 3G/4G base-station, WLAN, cable-TV, millimeter-wave, optical, and defense/aerospace applications.  This global RF solutions provider promises to enable quicker design turns, higher performance, and a smaller bill of materials.  Its standard products are complemented by a large selection of gallium-arsenide (GaAs) and gallium-nitride (GaN) foundry processes including Department of Defense (DoD) Category 1A “Trusted Foundry” services. The company’s latest GaN-on-SiC 0.25-micron process has been in release since 2008 with ongoing enhancements and comprehensive design kits.

To deliver its large portfolio of design, fabrication, manufacturing, and related services, TriQuint leverages its expertise in key technologies including GaN, GaAs, SAW, and BAW.  For example, TriQuint innovators have demonstrated the ability to incorporate amplifier and filter functions with key matching circuitry and optimizing capabilities. In doing so, they have made it possible for TriQuint to pioneer integrated modules for mobile devices and bring increasingly modularized solutions to network infrastructure, CATV/FTTH, optical networks, and the defense and aerospace markets.  TriQuint’s R&D heritage continues to support next-generation defense and commercial applications.
