The New Reality: AR/VR at CES 2019

Augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) was out in a big way at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show.

As usual these days, there were lots of people waving and looking while wearing a pair of glasses that revealed another world to only those wearing this artifact. Of all the technologies at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) really revealed themselves as becoming more mature. Self-driving cars are still a few years out and the latest 8K HDTVs are useful, but it’s more a matter of lower prices and availability.
