Quantum Computing Inc. Creates Government/Defense Subsidiary

Computing and communications systems based on quantum-computing technology will be designed and developed for government and defense customers by a new subsidiary of Quantum Computing.

To better serve government and defense customers with quantum-computer-based solutions, Quantum Computing Inc. launched a wholly-owned subsidiary, QI Solutions (QIS). Operating from a new facility in Arizona, QIS will provide customers with technologies that range from entropy quantum computing to high-speed quantum communications. The Arizona facility will be managed by the company’s experienced expert at applying quantum-computing technology: Sean Gabeler, president of QIS.

The CEO of parent company Quantum Computing, Robert Liscouski, explained the reasoning for the expansion, “We see tremendous potential for our market-ready quantum solutions in the government and defense sectors. To better meet those needs, we determined it would be best to set up a separate entity specifically to address the unique requirements of this market.”

He added, “Once we made that assessment and began conversations with key decision-makers in this space regarding their needs, we knew right away there was no better-experienced professional than Sean to lead the new initiative.”

Gabeler, a combat veteran and Special Operations officer for more than 30 years, brings a high level of understanding regarding government and military operations and business arrangements. He has experience at cost-effectively applying commercial technologies to government and military challenges.

Regarding working with government and military customers, Gabeler noted, “We have already been engaged in discussions with a number of these entities, and anticipate that we could soon see our solutions utilized in a wide variety of boutique applications for our clients.”

QIS will offer a wide range of technologies intended on bringing mission-ready quantum-computing solutions, including entropy quantum-computing hardware (see image above), software, quantum communications systems, and quantum sensing equipment, along with custom services and secure supply-chain management for sensitive government and military needs.
