Multiple-band antenna model BW1400 is an example of the antenna technology at STI-CO Industries that will be joining forces with Communications Power Companies.

Antenna specialist STI-CO Industries has announced a strategic merger with Communications Power Companies (CPC; an Addison Capital Partners (ACP) company), a developer of custom power amplifiers for defense and medical markets. Both companies engineer and manufacture products in the United States and by joining forces can leverage considerable investments in new technology research and development on both sides. As an example of its technology, model BW1400 is a multiple-band tactical antenna that combines three antennas with a simple, single-port connection for interoperable coverage from 150 to 1500 MHz (see figure).

Kyle Swiat, President of STI-CO noted, “ACP immediately added new capabilities including over mold processing, CNC machining, coil winding, three-dimensional (3D) printing, and other investments that further focus on our customers’ requirements. Vertically integrating manufacturing enhances quality control and protection in our supply chain.”

Swiat added: “With this merger, we are expanding to include a wider range of RF antennas, custom cables, and filters each designed with precision and engineered for excellence. Our enhanced capabilities mean we can now offer more tailored solutions including over-molded build-to-print and custom-designed cable kits (RF, power, and ethernet) ensuring that regardless of your project's complexity or scale, we have the technology and expertise to meet your needs.” Dan Myer, president of CPC, noted: “With the addition of AI software and automation, we are set to redefine the standards of performance, reliability, and customization of our RF power amplifier solutions, directly addressing the evolving challenges we face in the industry.”
