Here's this week's selection of some of the most interesting new products that have been launched of late.

COTS DC-DC Converters Target Space-Based Applications

VPT added the VSC100-2800S to its VSC Series of Space COTS DC-DC converters, complementing the hermetic hybrid SV/SVL series of rad-hard products. Intended for use in commercial rad-tolerant satellite applications and NASA Class D missions where the balance of cost and guaranteed performance is critical, the VSC100-2800S has output voltages of +3.3 V/66 W, +5 V/100 W, +12 V/100 W, and +15 V/100 W, as well as a wide input voltage range. The converters are characterized to LET > 42 MeV/mg/cm² for catastrophic events and LET > to 30 MeV/mg/cm² for SET and SEFI. WIth features such as proprietary packaging that creates a dual-side heatsinking option with very low outgassing, the VSC100-2800S is available immediately, and the VSC100-2800D will be released and available for sale by the end of 2024.
