SmartNIC Empowers High-Performance Network Computing

Senao Networks launched the SX904 SmartNIC, based on the Intel NetSec Accelerator Reference Design and harnessing the power of PCIe Gen4 technology. Addressing high-performance network computing the SX904 is a combination of the Intel XeonD processor, PCIe Gen4 technology, dual 25G SFP28 support, and DDR4 ECC memory support. This enables high data transfer rates and maximum bandwidth utilization, ideal for modern server architectures while supporting the latest Intel Platform Firmware Resilience, BMC, and TPM2.0. The SX904 enables the offload of applications optimized for Intel architecture with zero changes, optimizing performance transmission into an Intel-based server in a PCIe add-in-card form factor.

Alix is Editor-at-Large for Microwaves & RF.

An Army veteran, Alix Paultre was a signals intelligence soldier on the East/West German border in the early ‘80s, and eventually wound up helping launch and run a publication on consumer electronics for the U.S. military stationed in Europe. Alix first began in this industry in 1998 at Electronic Products magazine, and since then has worked for a variety of publications, most recently as Editor-in-Chief of Power Systems Design.

Alix currently lives in Wiesbaden, Germany.
