USB-Powered 5-GS/s Oscilloscopes Provide 10 Bits of Resolution
Pico Technology expanded its PicoScope 3000 series with two 350- and 500-MHz (respectively) USB-powered 5-Gsample/s oscilloscopes with 10 bits of resolution (up to 14 bits with Enhanced Resolution). Features include USB 3.0 Type-C connectors, 2 GB of capture memory for long-duration signals at maximum sampling rate, and the PicoScope DeepMeasure tool for automatic measurements of waveform parameters on up to a million waveform cycles with each triggered acquisition.
A 200-Msample/s 14-bit AWG/function generator offers real-world waveform generation capabilities, eliminating the need for additional external equipment. The PicoScope 7 User Interface for Windows, Mac, and Linux offers an intuitive experience across multiple operating systems, while serial decoders facilitate the analysis of serial bus communications, simplifying debugging and troubleshooting processes.
Segmented Memory, Persistence, and Fast waveform updates improve waveform visualization and analysis capabilities, while Advanced Maths, Measurements, Masks, and Digital Triggering provide advanced analysis tools for in-depth waveform characterization and interpretation. Users can set up Customizable Actions to automatically perform in response to events in long-duration unattended soak tests. A SDK enables users to write bespoke applications with the provided drivers for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
