    Teledatics
    The TD-HALOM ultra-low-power and long-range Wi-Fi HaLow module has an output of 1 W or 30 dBm.

    Wi-Fi HaLow Module Delivers 30-dBm Output

    Teledatics' TD-HALOM ultra-low-power and long-range Wi-Fi HaLow module has an output of 1 W or 30 dBm, leveraging Newracom’s NRC7394 SoC to enable communication at long ranges with good signal penetration via Wi-Fi HaLow. There's a crowdfunding campaign for the first commercial production on Crowd Supply. The project will provide ongoing updates on what Wi-Fi HaLow can do with the TD-HALOM. Supporting the 750- to 950-MHz band in a 13.5- x 18- x 2.4-mm module, it's compatible with AP, Station/Client, and 802.11s mesh with a throughput maximum of 15 Mb/s. Configured options include an evaluation kit Raspberry Pi or an M.2 interface board.

    An Army veteran, Alix Paultre was a signals intelligence soldier on the East/West German border in the early ‘80s, and eventually wound up helping launch and run a publication on consumer electronics for the U.S. military stationed in Europe. Alix first began in this industry in 1998 at Electronic Products magazine, and since then has worked for a variety of publications, most recently as Editor-in-Chief of Power Systems Design.
