Model CSW0118-BD is a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch from Mimix Broadband with more than 35-dB isolation between ports from 0.5 to 18.0 GHz. The MMIC switch suffers only 1.8 dB insertion loss over its full frequency range, and achieves output power at 1-dB compression of +20 dBm. The switch features fast rise/fall time of 1 to 2 ns. According to Amer Droubi, Product Manager of Mimix Broadband, "This broadband switch is much smaller than comparable FET MMICs offering similar performance. Low insertion loss, low power consumption, and broadband performance make this switch ideal for a variety of broadband applications." The switch is fabricated with GaAs pseudomorphic high-electron-mobility-transistor (PHEMT) process technology. For more information on the switch, or the company's lines of broadband amplifiers, visit the Mimix Broadband website at: http://www.mimixbroadband.com.
