Resistor Pairs Fill Automotive Needs

Jan. 24, 2013
Matched resistor pairs are ideally suited for applications in automotive electronics.

Precision matched-pair resistors in the MPMA series from Vishay Intertechnology are available in a resistance range from 250 Ω to 50 kΩ with divider ratios from 1:1 to 50:1. These resistor networksare AEC-Q200-qualified for automotive applications, packaged in compact molded surface-mount SOT-23 housings, and available with lead-free terminations. The RoHS-compliant resistors are designed for operating temperatures from -55 to +155°C and are rated for 100 mW power per resistor at +70°C. Ideal for battery and signal management applications in automotive, industrial, telecommunications, process control, and medical instrumentation equipment, the resistor dividers feature low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) tracking of 2 ppm/°C, low noise of less than - 30 dB, and low voltage coefficients of less than 0.1 ppm/V.
