Conference Serves Military & Space

Feb. 12, 2014
Several conference sessions offer design information on capacitors and other circuit-level passive components.

Passive components are still critical parts of military and space electronics systems, as evidenced by AVX Corp. being invited to make four technical presentations and chair a conference session at the upcoming 18th annual Components for Military & Space Electronics Conference & Exhibition (CMSE 2014). The event, which is scheduled for February 18-20, 2014 at the LAX Radisson Hotel (Los Angeles, CA), is a top conference and exhibition for professionals involved in testing and designing electronic components for military and space applications.

Ron Demcko, AVX Fellow, who is chairing the CMSE Rad Hard and Space Components session, notes: “We are extremely pleased to have been invited to participate in each of the four conference sessions at CMSE 2014.” The technical sessions cover such topics as tantalum capacitors, a comparison of multilayer organic (MLO) components with low-temperature-cofired-ceramic (LTC) passive components, and radiation-hardened (rad hard) components for space applications.
