EM Simulation Software Available As Free Version

June 5, 2014
This EM simulation software has been refined for faster processing speed and ease of use, even for larger designs.

Visitors to Sonnet Software at IMS 2014 (Booth No. 1215) can learn more about modeling microwave circuits with electromagnetic (EM) simulation software, including Release 14 of the Sonnet Suites software. New feature support simulations of larger circuits, faster simulations, and an automated design flow to ease simulations of complex circuits. Release 14 is the first version of the software with Technology Layers, which allow operators to analyze designs in terms of different materials, components, and locations, such as dielectric and metal materials in printed-circuit boards (PCBs). Release 14 of the Sonnet Lite software will also be demonstrated at the Sonnet IMS booth, which is a free version of the Sonnet Suites EM simulation software; it can also be downloaded from the firm’s website free of charge.
