Tektronix (www.tektronix.com) is now offering free downloads of its ArbExpress waveform creation and editing tool for the company's AWG and AFG series of arbitrary (ARB) waveform generators. The software features a comprehensive library of waveforms, which can be used directly or edited into a desired format. The software also allows users to capture data from an oscilloscope and seamlessly translate it into a file that can be used to generate waveforms on an arbitrary waveform generator. The software also works with files created on the MATLAB mathematical software from The MathWorks supports math operations on waveforms, and supports multiple waveform overlay viewing for easy comparisons and editing. For more on the test software, or for a free copy, visit the company's web site.
