TEGAM Joins LXI Consortium

Test and measurement equipment supplier TEGAM has joined the LXI Consortium as an Informational Member. The local-area-network (LAN) Extensions for Instrumentation industry association is devoted to the acceptance of Ethernet-based communications among test and measurement equipment. TEGAM comes to the organization amidst work on a new RF power meter with LXI compatibility. The new meter (model 1830A), scheduled for release in early 2008, will be equipped with LXI-C and Universal Serial Bus (USB) interfaces.
