Hybrid Diplexers Channel 2 to 8 GHz

Jan. 8, 2022
Corry Micronics's compact coaxial hybrid diplexers can isolate wide portions of frequency bandwidth from a total input range of 2 to 8 GHz.

Coaxial hybrid diplexers available from Corry Micronics allow a user to filter a wide band of frequencies, select a desired band segment with low loss, and stop the remainder with high rejection. One of the initial standard product families processes the 2-to-8-GHz frequency band with passbands of 2.496 to 2.690 GHz, 3.3 to 4.2 GHz, 4.4 to 5.0 GHz, and 5.0  to 6.0 GHz, with typical in-band loss of 2.5 dB and typical out-of-band rejection of at least 40 dB and as much as 55 dB. Typical input VSWR is 2.0:1 or less. The hybrid diplexers are supplied in compact housings with female SMA connectors (see the figure) and are rated for maximum input signal power of 1 W.
