Crush-Proof Cables Channel Signals to 50 GHz

June 12, 2019
A rugged coaxial cable is available as cable alone or as cable assemblies with connectors of choice for applications through 50 GHz.

Designed for applications from dc to 50 GHz, the Warrior Cable line of coaxial cables and cable assemblies are rugged and crush-proof, maintaining stable amplitude and phase performance under vibration and shock conditions. The cables feature a GrooveTube Copper outer conductor, solid gold-plated copper inner conductor, and PTFE tape dielectric. The cables (alone) achieve shielding effectiveness of better than 110 dB with propagation velocity of 69%. The cables have a static bend radius of 3.81 cm and an operating temperature range of −55 to +135°C. A wide range of coaxial connectors are available for cable assemblies (frequency-dependent) including Type N, SMA, BNC, 3.5-mm, 2.9-mm, 2.4-mm, and 12.85-mm connectors. All Warrior cable assemblies are 100% tested for S-parameter performance and each cable assembly is serialized.
