AI-Driven RF Design Tool Optimizes Antenna Integration

May 20, 2025
The Oxion 2.0 AI RF design tool can save time and accelerate antenna integration, tackling complex RF layouts and overcoming PCB constraints.

Easing the creation of complex RF layouts and overcoming PCB constraints more quickly, Ignion's Oxion 2.0 AI-driven RF and antenna design tool puts antennas first and simplifies integration. With features like Automatic PCB Gerber Review, Oxion 2.0 processes and analyzes PCB Gerber files in detail, indicating integration readiness and optimization opportunities.

The embedded AI Assistant also provides expert-level guidance on antenna theory, helping interpret reports and optimizing designs in real-time. Additional features include an AI Design Explorer to adjust antenna placement, dimensions, and clearance.

Enhancements were made to project management tools, too, such as centralized dashboards to manage multiple projects, compare iterations, and access tailored design recommendations. Resources available in the company's Virtual Antenna Academy, developed with La Salle University Ramon Llull, provide education on cutting-edge RF and antenna integration techniques.

Oxion calculates the desired performance and finds the most suitable antenna(s), supporting rapid design iteration and quickly optimizing aspects such as positioning and clearance area.
