Designers working with the Advanced Design System (ADS) suite of software simulation tools from Agilent Technologies now can have a new set of device models at their fingertips, with the release of Modelithics® COMPLETE Library 9.0 for ADS. This new release introduces more than 30 new scalable Global Models™ for surface-mount resistive-inductive-capacitive (RLC) components from leading suppliers, including products from American Technical Ceramics, AVX, Coilcraft, Murata, Temex Ceramics, Taiyo-Yuden, and TDK.

The new release also features 22 new nonlinear models for diode, transistors, and amplifiers, including several gallium-nitride (GaN) power transistors, a 150-W silicon LDMOS transistor, and a nonlinear X-parameter model for a 100-W power amplifier from Freescale Semiconductor. The release also offers a measurement based model library for the latest circuit-board materials. Visitors to the Modelithics website can download a free, updated model library to evaluate the models without risk. To learn more, visit Modelithics at the 2012 IMS at booth No. 1123.
