To address demands for high-performance computing that operates reliably under harsh conditions, Elma Electronic released the JetSys-2010, an industrial-grade, rugged small-form-factor (SFF) platform for AI inference computing. The platform, which offers full data control with maximum resilience in edge-computing applications, eases the development of high-performance computing systems for industrial applications.
Among its features are the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX SoM with 16 GB and the NVIDIA JetPack software development kit, a complete solution to accelerate end-to-end AI application development. The SDK also includes the Jetson Linux board support package, the Jetson AI Stack, and Jetson Platform Services for AI application development. A highly reliable and low-maintenance AI processing platform, it provides full, local control over AI data without the need to go to the cloud.
Innovative passive cooling is in the mix, targeting applications where environmental protection is critical. It's also well-suited for industrial applications at the edge, like robotics, automation, and networked mobility solutions. Compliant with requirements for railway applications, the JetSys-2010 is designed to meet EN50155, and is ready for use in rugged transportation applications.
The JetSys-2010 has two Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB, and LAN, and a wide range of interfaces are available, such as RS-232, RS-485, CAN bus, and user-defined I/O. There's also USB-Console or a DVI port and an optional extension as well as I/O-ready GSML camera interfaces. The unit ships with either 1-TB M.2 or M.2 2242 SSD storage and it's powered by a railway-compliant power supply.
