Anritsu and Bluetest combined recent product upgrades to create an OTA measurement solution in a MIMO environment.

Anritsu and Bluetest combined their latest systems to create an over-the-air (OTA) measurement solution for operation in a MIMO environment. The platform verifies RF performance in the tri-frequency bands of the latest IEEE 802.11be WLAN standard. It can perform transmit power (total radiated power, TRP) and receiver sensitivity (total isotropic sensitivity, TIS) measurements in a 2x2 MIMO environment on devices supporting IEEE 802.11be.

The 2x2 MIMO RF OTA test solution enables products to achieve higher data-transmission speeds with a lower latency, leveraging AI and other technologies. It takes measurements in a highly repeatable environment emulating real-world operation. 

The comprehensive tool for Wi-Fi radio performance testing addresses the growing number of IEEE 802.11be devices and the need for high-performance tri-frequency band operation as well as wideband in a 2x2 MIMO environment. The solution consists of Bluetest's advanced OTA Reverberation Test System for various types and sizes of wireless devices, along with the Anritsu Wireless Connectivity Test Set MT8862A.

By providing 2x2 MIMO device RF test capability, there's support for the 2.4-, 5-, and 6-GHz bands with a 320-MHz bandwidth, enabling a repeatable OTA environment with stable connections to perform highly efficient 2x2 MIMO OTA tests.
